Well, it has been a week! Please, for your own fun, don't look at my answers before you do all you can! Here it is:
There are 30 books of the Bible in this paragraph. Can you find them? This is a most remarkable puzzle. It was found by a gentleman in an airplane seat pocket on a flight from Los Angeles to Honolulu keeping him occupied for hours. He enjoyed it so much he passed it on to some friends. One friend for Illinois worked on this while fishing from his john boat. Another friend studied it while playing the banjo. Elaine Taylor, a columnist friend was so intrigued by it she mentioned it in her weekly newspaper column. Another friend judges the job of solving the puzzle so involving, she brews a cup of tea to help her nerves. There will be some names that are real easy to spot. That's a fact. Some people, however, will soon find themselves in a jam, especially since the book names are not necessarily capitalized. Truthfully, from answers we get, we are forced to admit it usually takes a minister or scholar to see some of them at the worst. Research has shown that something in our genes is responsible for the difficulty we have in seeing the books in the paragraph. During a recent fund raising event which featured this puzzle, the Alpha Delta Phi lemonade booth set a new sales record. The local paper, The Chronicle, surveyed over 200 patrons who reported that this puzzle was one of the most difficult they had ever seen. As Daniel Hummana humbly puts it, the books are right there in plain view hidden from sight. Those able to find them all will hear great lamentations from those who have to be shown. One revelation that may help is that books like Timothy and Samuel may occur without their numbers. Also keep in mind, that punctuation and spaces in the middle are normal. A chipper attitude will help you compete really well against those who claim to know all the answers. Remember, there is no need for a mad exodus, there really are 30 books of the Bible lurking somewhere in the paragraph waiting to be found.
Please tell me if you find some that we have not! :)

What detail! Who could have made it?
Who could have designed this gorgeous flower? Who could have made this flower? And here's the big thing, who could have made this flower out of absolutely nothing? God did. He is so awesome! He made not only this flower, but every plant and animal in the world! And not only that, He made us, all of us! He made each of us unique, in His own image! How much better can it get?!?!
Now, just think about this for a second, if God is so powerful and awesome and wonderful and creative, then why don't we praise Him every time we see a beautiful flower, or tree, or animal, or even a human being? Why do some people ignore the fact that everything is so perfectly created? Why/how do some people think that everything came about by random chance?
I don't understand how some people can look at a human being and say that we evolved. Every part of our bodies is there for a reason, to serve a purpose. Yes, there are organs that you can live without, but they do serve a purpose. Trust me, I had to have my appendix removed, am I dead? Um, that's an obvious no. So, does it serve a purpose? Yes. How? How could it serve a purpose, yet you can live without it? Well, the appendix is the organ right before your large intestine, and "the cells within the appendix are the same kind of cells we find in the infection-fighting organ which specifically fights off infections of the large and/or small intestine."* So, it has cells in it that fight infection in the intestines, so what do you think it is good for? Fighting infections! But, there are other organs that fight off infections there too, so do we need it? Well, yes. It takes some of the load off of the other infection fighting organs, to make their work easier. But, we can live without it, because it is not the only organ doing that job.
So, back to my first question, "who could have made it?" I know I couldn't! I took the picture above, but I did not make the flower. People can paint a picture of a human being, but we can't make a real human being. "Who could have made it?" Who could have made you? God. He created you!!! Thank Him, love Him, worship Him. And always remember how much He loves you.

Books of the Bible puzzle
Hey Y'all! This puzzle is really cool. It explains itself, so go do it! Print it out if you want! You might have to copy and paste it into a word thing, I don't know.

How many did you find???? My family and I found all but three! I will post the answers we found in one week. :) Y'all might have to remind me though! :P

New Years Resolutions #5
Hello everyone! Well, for some reason, this month I have been really wanting to do this post. I don't know why....
Anyways, my Bible reading is going good, I am having to do it at different times of day than normal, because we have either been doing stuff in the mornings (biking, garage sale, etc.), or I am just too tired. But I am getting it done. So that is good. :) I am in first Timothy, I read chapters two and three today because I forgot to read yesterday. I have been ready a chapter a day normally, since I do some Bible reading in school too.
As for the room cleaning, um, I have not done so good this month, last Friday it was gorgeous!!!! Hey! Don't you think a thoroughly cleaned room is beautiful?!?!?! I do!!! And, guess what! It has stayed clean all week!!!!! I am so excited!!!! So, hopefully that was the "halfway through the year turnaround." LOL. I will try VERY hard now to keep it perfect. I promise.
I hope your resolutions are going better than mine! Tell me how it's going, I love comments! :)

Put on the Full Armour of God
I like this passage because it tells us that there are spiritual battles, and that we need to be ready. It gives us the armour that we need to put on in order to protect us from the enemy.
"Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; and your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; above all, taking the shield of faith, where with ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints."
What must we do?
Who are we fighting against?

What must we do?
- be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might
- put on the full armour of God, so that we can withstand evil
Who are we fighting against?
- principalities
- powers and rulers of the darkness of this world
- spiritual wickedness in high places
What armour must we put on?
- waist belt of truth
- breastplate of righteousness
- shoes of the gospel of peace
- shield of faith
- helmet of salvation
- sword of the Spirit(the Bible)
Questions and comments are very welcome. :)

Pretty little Common Buckeye, just a small part of God's wonderful Creation!
After we spotted this butterfly, I watched it till it landed on this flower. It sat so still! I had enough time to take three pictures before it flew away! It was taking nectar out of the flower. In the picture below you can see it's tongue! God's creation never ceases to amaze me!

Current Drawing Project
My current drawing project is on a canvas bag. I am drawing a scene of butterflies and flowers(since that's about all I can draw). I started it yesterday. I will keep updating on how it is going, but this is what I have right now. These are my supplies, I am later going to (hopefully) be coloring it in with sharp-tipped fabric markers. Any better ideas for what to color it in with would be appreciated!

"What impresses you?"
This is a great topic that the Rebelution covered lately. After I read the article I had to post some here!
It starts off with this movie of a 6 year old girl, maybe the next Mozart...take a look:
What did you think? Amazing right!?! Then the article. I will post a little here, but I think it is really worth it to read the whole thing, click here to read the whole thing.
"When I watch Emily Bear play the piano, do I remember that she was created through Christ and for Christ? When my heart begins to admire an athlete’s talent, do I remind myself that in Him that athlete holds together? When I am confronted with the intellectual precision of a thinker, speaker, or communicator, do I use that as an opportunity to recall that Jesus is more accomplished, more masterful, more expert, more skillful, more excellent, more outstanding?"
"What impresses you? And how do you take advantage of those moments to turn and worship your Savior? It is good to be impressed. We are wired to be blown-away by glory. But we only see pieces of glory in people — and they all point to the one who created all things, holds all things together, and is above and before everything." - Brett Harris
So, I ask, what impresses you?
(I made some things bigger)
