Happy Valentines Day

Happy Valentines Day! To all of my readers!!! This is a day to love, not only friends and family, but to love and enjoy God! We should say "I love you" more often, all year round. My challenge for you, is to tell ten people today, "I love you". Ten different people, tell friends and family just how much you care. I love you!!!

Great Songs

My friend posted about a great song called "There will be a day" by Jeremy Camp, on her blog. It is an awesome song!!! It talks about how there will be a day when the believers will be taken up into heaven where there will be no tears, no fears, no suffering, nothing but happiness in worshiping the Father. It is a beautiful song about heaven. I highly recommend it. It almost made me cry.

Another song I really like is "Walk by Faith," which is also by Jeremy Camp. It is about how we must walk by faith, and depend on God. Even when we cannot see why things are happening the way they are. "Even when I cannot see" is one of my favorite lines of the song. It shows how even though we can't see some things, God can. He can see everything, at anytime, in any place! What an awesome God we serve!!!

There are a ton of very, very good, Christian songs out there that I love. But I chose two to post about for right now. Hopefully, I will be able to post more later. If you know of a good song or artist that I don't have on my playlist at the bottom of this page, please comment and tell me about it. I am always ready for suggestions. :)

Dad's Home!!!

Our Daddy got home yesterday!!!! We are all sooooooooooo excited!!!! And this time he will(hopefully) never go back. This is not R&R! I am still having a hard time believing that he is here for good!!!!! Thank you all for your prayers! We are all so thankful to have our family back together again after fifteen long months (with a two week R&R in between)!!!

(I will try to post pictures of the sign we made for him after someone uploads them to the computer.)

Masquerade Ball dress

We went to a Elizabethan Masquerade Ball on Tuesday night with some of our Grandparents. It was so much fun!!! My sister and I made our own dresses out of a kind of satin fabric. Mine is blue and hers is a nice, lime green. Our Mom did our hair for us, as well as directing us and doing part of our dresses. Thanks Mommy!!! The back is laced up and then tied at the bottom in a bow.

Our Grandma found us some nice cord to be the belt, if you can't tell, it is gold and white twisted stripes.

It was both a lot of work and a lot of fun!
